{"id":1134,"date":"2026-06-10T08:56:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-10T06:56:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.zeropfas-italia.org\/?p=1134"},"modified":"2026-06-10T08:56:46","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T06:56:46","slug":"i-batteri-che-mangiano-i-pfas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.zeropfas-italia.org\/?p=1134","title":{"rendered":"I batteri che &#8220;mangiano&#8221; i PFAS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I PFAS, soprattutto quelli perfluoroalchilici, sono molecole considerate indistruttibili quando rilasciate in ambiente proprio perch\u00e8 il legame carbonio-fluoro \u00e8 il pi\u00f9 forte della chimica organica. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nel 2019 per\u00f2, i professori <strong>Peter Jaff\u00e8<\/strong> e <strong>Shan Huan<\/strong> dell\u2019<strong><em>universit\u00e0 americana di Princeton <\/em><\/strong>hanno descritto e isolato in laboratorio <strong>Acidimicrobium A6<\/strong>, un batterio ambientale in grado di rompere questo legame e degradare molecole di PFOS e PFOA. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Siamo agli inizi in questo campo e le ricerche sono ancora pionieristiche ma proprio con questo team, con l\u2019<strong>Universit\u00e0 di Verona<\/strong> e il <strong>laboratorio di Acque del Chiampo<\/strong> sto contribuendo a coordinare uno studio per verificare se questo microorganismo sia in grado di iniziare a detossificare i carboni attivi saturi di PFAS.
